Susan
Our first Mother’s Day without my sister, Susan. Her first grandchild was baptized today, too. I’ve been thinking about her a lot and the red rose I received at church was a reminder of her beautiful life. Taken in Munday, Knox County, Texas just down the street from my house with a Canon D30. Played with photoshop trying to get the sepia tones but I’ve never done that before so…I hope it’s OK.
Susan belongs to the following groups:
American Southwest , Bubblettes, Everyday Life, Live, Love, Dream: , Living Christianity, Rural Around The Globe and United States Available for sale asGreeting Cards

I think you did a wonderful job! It also looks like selective color work. Either way, it’s a wonderful shot that goes with your sweet narrative. :)Karen

Karen – yes selective color would be a better name for what I tried to accomplish. Hopefully I’ll get better at it. I’m so pleased that you liked it and commented. Thanks.

Thank you Aunt Cynthia for this beautiful picture! I was missing mom yesterday too! Cooper’s baptism was a wonderful way to celebrate the day. I wish you could have been there!
