Nightmare in the Sky by Monica Engeler
This is a lithograph. I did it in my senior year at School of Visual Arts 1989. In college, I was often having bad holocaust like nightmares, and I had a constant habit of trying to portray them in my art work. This is one of those images. I think when I did this, I didn’t understand it myself and maybe I still don’t.

I should say “plane.”
I think if I new the future back then, I would have drawn two planes. Better I didn’t know what happened at that time.
