My name is Becca and I am a born and raised Florida Cracker. No offense meant, that’s really what we are called ’round these parts! The love of my life is my family, my husband and three little boys and coming in a close second is photography. I love colors, textures, sights and scenes and everything this world has to offer. Photography is my way of taking all of it in and connecting with it. I am blessed to live in a place like I do and thank God everyday for all he has given me and will continue to give.

I also love fishing, hunting and pretty much anything else as long as I can be outside doing it with my camera in my hand. I am fairly new to photography, I just upgraded to my Canon Rebel this year and was using a FujifilmS1000 for about 3 years before that. I like the versatility that editing can give me but still opt for the natural much of the time.

People often say that this or that person has not yet found himself. But the self is not something one finds, it is something one creates. ~Thomas Szasz

I am learning everyday and having so much fun doing it, not only in photography but in being a mother, wife and friend as well. It is hard to believe that one person can have as much joy as I do in my life, I have overcome a lot of things and faults within myself that make me stronger and I am so thankful for it! I hope I can share it with others in whatever way possible. I hope you enjoy looking at and reading my work as much as i enjoy creating it.

Be as you are (I agree with Kenny Chesney!) and enjoy that Florida Sunshine!
Check out my Mom’s Redbubble, she is a very inspriring person who can put thoughts on paper in both poetry and drawing. I love you Mama! bunnyfaye

Pride, sadness and bittersweet growth

I have been few and far between in my visits to Redbubble. There is a very good reason for this! I am feeling the need to be creative today and besides making 150 water bottle noisemakers, (yes, 150 of the things) This was the next best way to kind of express it. / I love the summertime with the exception of the lack of activity. Living where we do offers little in the way of entertainment in 101…

Game on :)

My life has been a bit off kilter for a few weeks. / My middle son starts school for the first time soon and we are dealing with the fact that he may have asthma. My oldest son has been having an attitude issue, but he is 7 so it’s to be expected. He starts school and football soon. / My younger brother’s deployment officially began this week as he left for Afghanistan and I am worrie…

My one dollar investment is paying off

I use my laptop for everything. I don’t even own a desktop. I never got a stand alone mouse to go with it, just always used the little space on the laptop itself. When my kids and I visited the thrift store yesterday, I found a new computer mouse, in the package, for one dollar. I am simply amazed at how much easier editing in PS is with a real mouse. I mean I am so impressed that I am writ…

Grrr...

I am annoyed. I just realized that sometime within the past month, RB stopped automatically posting my works for sale. So I had to go through 37 works and select items for sale. They are for sale, but it was not posting that as default like it used to. This happen to anyone else or did I maybe mess up a setting somewhere? Not that big of a deal, I know know to check the box, just curious.
