FLIRT AND TEMPT
Honeyed speak,
moist words
well balanced
on luscious lips,
ruby red,
swollen
with empty promises,
tease,
appease
a battered ego.
Alluring glances,
longing eyes
focus intent
on hidden flesh,
golden tan,
swollen
with anticipated hopes ,
undress,
caress
a discarded heart.
Glistening jewel
laid sumptuously
open,
inviting
tempting fingers,
beckoning,
stretching
staid moral character
like a rubber band,
transparent,
about to snap
an already weakening
resolve.

Very interesting. I love the two ‘egos’ fighting with each other. Makes this thoughtful apart from sultry… Reminds me of a saying that (in such a case) a man planning his defeat rather than escape….
