THE KNOWING OF LOVE. (Part 2/7)

Part 2 of “The knowing of love” where two souls are one.

DAY TWO: The knowing of shared love

My love for you
is my reflection
you hold in your eyes
and together
we watch the dawn of our union.
It is an undying passion
from the deities,
carried through the ages
on stardust
before the laws of Time
ruled the cycles of planets and stars.
My love for you
is an everlasting flame
flickering
in unison with your heartbeat,
casting our dancing shadows
across mirrored lakes and mountains high,
embracing in their lush green valleys.
From the depths of Neptune’s oceans
and beyond the peaks of Mount Olympus,
our love carry us
on wings of fire
across the great Chaos
to touch every star
and discover new worlds.
Together
in a timeless womb
we float
entwined in rapture,
safe in each others arms.
My love for you
is your reflection
I hold in my eyes
in unspoken recognition.

    A love cannot compare
that I know of this so rare
    Betwixt so many be
    looking too far above heaven
    underneath our self skin
this be the love’s first annointment
    Garmented in self knowledge
Love will find us no matter how far …..XXX

Sigh…..I think love from another is sometimes over-rated when it is not seen for how fragile it can be if the owner of it hungers for it to feed their soul

  • cosimopiro replied

these are true words you write and with great wisdom…...there will always be an imbalance if one’s needs are greater and there’s a hunger to fill, this is too often the reality for many of us…..but if there is, even if touched but for a moment in all infinity, a recognition of a soul mate where heaven and earth and time are insignificant wouldn’t we want to lose ourselves in that moment? I agree there is a danger for reaching beyond heaven and self knowledge is all important, but from whence does this self knowledge come if we don’t take some risks? I hope I have read your write correctly,.....you have as usual brought insight and wisdom with a few extra questions to ponder. I greatly appreciate your read and comment. xoxo

This is every person’s deepest desire I am sure – a love just like this, given as well as received, though sometimes it is not reciprocated. But even then, to have felt this way about someone, to have loved another this deeply and with this much intimate “knowing” is the gift of a lifetime. One can only be eternally grateful for having experienced the depth and breadth of that joy. Exquisite writing.

  • cosimopiro replied

To have but a drop of this elixir…...to savour but a moment in all infinity…...is enough to sustain one for a lifetime. Like many different facets of love, once it shows itself and is taken in, it becomes a part of ones soul. So enjoying your visit Lianne. Thank you.
