“Bring out those artists and poets with their dreamy landscapes and silky lips to tantalise, romanticise, fantasise, and glamourise.Lay out before me your canvases painted with light and words that hypnotise, mesmerise, idealise, and mythologise.Bathe me with your creative juices that sensualise, eroticise, tranquillise, and sensitise.Bring out those artists and poets with dramatic scenes and acrid tongues that criticise, politicise, satarise, and chastise.Awaken my senses with images in dark shadows and biting tones that will polarise, destabilise, demonise, and ostracise.Shake my emotions to the core with your unrelenting passion that will scrutinise, penalise, moralise, and pressurise.Bring out those artists and poets who capture a tear and nurse broken hearts to empathise, rationalise, finalise, and revitalise.Lay bare your darkest fears and your deepest cuts to recognise, neutralise, minimise, and legitimise.Rest your vulnerability in my care for a brief moment to externalise, sympathise, compromise, and crystallise.Bring out those artists and poets whose searching souls explore the deepest, inexplicable worlds so that I may internalise, conceptualise, symbolise, and theorise.Unravel your heady dialogue and surrealist impressions so I can visualise, realise, philosophise, and spiritualise.Put before me your most treasured insight and vision to surprise, elegise, ritualise, and immortalise.Bring out those artists and poets who long to speak.Pour out their works like wine from a bottle, for I am a drunkard to their speech!"
Not long ago I was introduced to Red Bubble by a friend and have been feasting my senses on the remarkable art and writing therein. It occured to me that I was starting to feel a bit like a voyeur and I had nothing to show back to the community. When Jane Soloman and Larry Stewart put me in their watchlist it prompted me to write “Entertain Me” as a way to say thank you to the many talented people on this site and to Red Bubble for giving me a fabulous smorgasborg of heavenly delights. To Jane and Larry, thanks to you this is my first submission to Red Bubble. It may well be a work in progress…..or the first of many.
