I'M LEAVING -- FOR CHINA

Well friends, I’m off for another adventure. This Saturday, 12th May, a friend and I are flying off to spend 12 days in China. First port of call will be Bangkok for a day and night then to Taipei in Taiwan for three days. From there a flight to Shanghai for four days and then a four hour trip on the bullet train to Beijing for four days before heading back home. I’ll be armed only with a camera, a pen and pad, and my wits to navigate the streets and thoughts of a land that has always held a mystique for me. I have no expectations, only an open heart and mind to explore what curiosities may come my way. Hopefully I will have time and access to a computer to keep in touch for the time I’m away. If not, rest assured I carry you all with me and will be in contact when I return.

GREETINGS FROM PARIS

Hi everyone……quick visit to say hello to you all. Paris is a wonderous city offering so much for the senses to feast on. Our first day after a long plane trip was in a mad taxi run to our destination which got the adrenalin pumping. Our second day was to experience the incredible underground train system which can be a bit daunting at first but quite easy to manage once learnt. So much art and history to take in…..Notre Dame is exquisite, Museum of modern art just wonderful……have overloaded brain, sore feet, and a full belly, and plenty more to see. Perfect weather, wonderful people…….much love to you all. xoxo

My apologies to all my RB friends for my spasmodic efforts in visiting and commenting and replying to your works and your recognition of my works. The past two months have been taken up with a few happenings that has left me with mixed emotions of exhileration and profound sadness, compounded by the effects of a flu that caught me off gaurd. Firstly, the exciting news is that Beth and I will be travelling in 10 days time to Paris, Venice, Vienna, Budapest, Turkey, and Bangkok and will be absent until No
