How I often wonder
What the point is to be
Most our hopes get blown asunder
Or else swallowed in the sea
But these times, they are a’changing,
That much I hypothesize
No more plays are in need of staging
When I look in your eyes.
Oh, how long it is, Love,
That we need to see,
To know the answer’s close, Love,
For us to be.
Can this be that we have seen it,
Somehow colored in the lines?
Maybe if we really mean it,
We can try this new design.
Have you ever watched the stars, girl?
Watched them shimmer clear?
In that black and grey of God’s swirl,
Could you the message hear?
I have followed you so long now,
Can you not sympathize?
Even if I’ve strayed, I’m back; how?
I need but look into your eyes.
O, how long is it, dove,
That we need to look?
To see the answer’s close, Love,
In the crannies; in the nook.

I’ve read your three pieces that you have up, in reverse-chronological order, and – I must say – I’m done adding all of them to my favorites. D:< Haha. I’m kidding. Stop being so darn amazing!
Anyway, this is (again) mind-blowing. You’re a fantastic writer. Welcome to RedBubble. :D
Thanks for the welcome. I’m really glad this place exists. It’s a lot of fun.

Very well written, and I don’t mind the fw one liners from songs…. they were good ones!! Welcome to RB, and thanks for taking the time to add this piece to Freedom to Shine!!
As long as they work, I guess.
Thank you. : )
