I picked up my first DSLR shortly before going on holiday to Japan, as I wanted to have a really nice camera to help me document and remember all the adventures I was going to have.

Thankfully the photography bug never stopped. I have been shooting constantly since then with a variety of subjects randing from weird junk in my house to portraiture to even more travel photography. Looking back now on what I did in Japan I shake my head at how little I knew then, and really must go back to re-do everything!
