Path to Towanroath Engine House by 


Wheal Coates Towanroath Shaft Pumping Engine House; built in 1872, it housed an example of the world famous Cornish beam engine which drained the mine from the 600ft-deep shaft.

The coastal path runs from Chapel Porth (National Trust Car Park) to At Agnes and leads to the spectacular views across Cornwall from the Beacon.
