After work, decided to take a ride to get some shots by the river. The lighting was started out pretty good, but was perfect by the time I left. I couldn’t decide on which shot to post, so posted this as a series. Hope you enjoy.

Taken in Marysville, PA with a Nikon D5000. All straight from the camera except for slight cropping on a couple.

History of the Rockville Bridge:

The longest stone masonry arch railroad bridge in the world, one mile to the south, was built 1900-02. With forty-eight arches, it has a length of 3,820 feet. This was the third bridge constructed here by the Pennsylvania Railroad. For more history on the Rockville Bridge, click here

When I saw this on my image feed I was intrigued… I thought it looked like natural water but it was bright so I was thinking it could have been HDR… I was happy to open it and see that it was indeed natural and not ruined with actual HDR processing :-D

Best viewed large and I adore the whole series.

  • Thanks! and, of course you can use the shot for a challenge.
