My name is Alex McCorkle. I am 18 years old. I have been involved in photography for several years. While I have always enjoyed photography, I began to take photographs seriously when I purchased a Nikon D100 from my uncle. I then upgraded to a Nikon D5000. Photography began as a hobby and quickly became a passion.
I am now in college but I still try to find as much time as possible to devote to my photography.
I tend to focus on nature in my photography, but do not limit myself to any photo opportunity. I tend to go for the slightly different even if others don’t see the beauty or uniqueness that I see.
All my images are straight from the camera except for minor tweaking of color here and there. If I do an experiment with editing, it will be noted in the description.
