On the second floor is a room of several marble sculptures, two of which are not in this photograph, and four paintings. All art depicts women, from allegorical tales or other stories, or from history and the Bible, that share a common characteristic — their ravishing beauty. This elegant room of artful — and beautiful — women was photographed at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery and American Art Museum in Washington, D.C.
