Artist's Description

“The David of the Casa Martelli” is a marble sculpture by Bernardo (or Antonio) Rossellino and was made from 1461 to 1479. The sculpture of the Biblical David standing over the head of Goliath was photographed at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
