Is That Brooke?!
No no, it is not Brooke Shields in one of her famous ads for Calvin Klein jeans, but I had to look twice, and then a third time as I recently walked past this storefront promoting Gap jeans. The girl in the Gap ad sure looks like Brooke, and she fits into her tight jeans quite nicely. But as I recall the Brooke Shields ads of thirty years ago, those were the best, simply the best. And who can forget the famous tagline, “You want to know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing.” But there is a depressing point here —was that really thirty years ago?!
Needless to say, the above photograph for Calvin Klein Jeans is not my work, but it is here because it goes with the story.

the thing is that the brooke add was probably taken natural, the gap one has certainly been enhanced as they almost do each time now (see the continuous controversy on most magazine covers)...
but they do look alike a lot !
