I Love this shot!! loved the Smithsonian (s) too…....was truly one of the highlights of my travelling experiences…..
this is just an unusual and very interesting shot! you’ve got an excellent eye :)

I hope my cousin got to visit at least one of the buildings last week while visiting…...she loves history and information so very much….next time I’m going with her and we’re going to look you up!!! :0)

Now we get to see the Smithsonian through Cora’s eyes. Great composure on this…ah…oculus. The lighting you captured is also just right. Nice job Cora.

Beautifully simple and satisfying image, not only looking through to the architecture of the floor above, but looking into this bowl of light and geometry pooled together by the great orb of an eye you have set so supplely around it. Gorgeous, Cora. —Tim

What a spectacular view. The Romans used the same type of thing when they built the “Pantheon”. In their case it was used in the top of the dome to lessen the weight. Great shot!!!!!!

Its not easy to come up with a good archtactual shot..
They dont move if you ask a little to left .. right whatever..
