The grave site of a valiant young woman in Arlington National Cemetery. She is one of approximately 4,346 members of the United States military who have died in the Iraq war since it began in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count as of September 29, 2009.

Yes, it is, I live close to Arlington National Cemetery and have photographed it extensively. It is sad, but I feel photos like this need to be shown so that people do not forget, regardless of the country they are in. Thank you for commenting on this one. – Cora

I agree Cora, my Dad was a WW2 vet & my Grandfather a WW1 vet, though I never knew him, I CANNOT forget. love your imagery. :)
