Bubblegum

Colours and shapes…yum!

Jenny the Bubble Gum Queen by Rosenshontz

When Jenny was born, all the doctors stood back.
Cause the first thing that she grabbed was a bubble gum pack.
The nurses were amazed and shook their heads.
When Jenny blew a bubble, this is what they said.

CHORUS:
There goes Jenny, she’s the Bubble Gum Queen
She blows bubbles, biggest bubbles ever seen
There goes Jenny, to the bubble gum machine.
Raspberry, strawberry, grape, peppermint green.

When Jenny was eight, blew a bubble so great
It covered California and a neighboring state
A playful western wind blew her up high
A pilot waved at Jenny, as she floated by

CHORUS

When Jenny was ten, she was headin’ for fame.
She starred on television in the “Bubble GumGame
Starring Jenny and her magical bubble.”
Rode a bubble gum float in the Rose Parade.
A marching band blew bubbles.
This is what they played.

Coralie, I haven’t heard the song before. The colours and shapes ARE yum. Your description is spot on! The colours also remind me of those candy striped licorice all-sorts.

Yes you’re right, licorice all sorts…especially with the black/gray area representing the licorice.
