hands touching.
The verbal conversations
and laughter echos in the ears
as I try and listen once more to your voice.
Then the night falls
the clatter of the day vanishes,
the echos are only the sounds in the room.
Turning off the lights
sitting in the dark,
soaking up the quietness,
Shifting to be more comfortable
as if I could sink deeper into the chair.
Soft Music playing,
my heart beating as if it expected something.
My mind found you smiling…...

wonderfully written Vickie! (big smile) and the music oh my one of my favorites .. actually taught myself to play it on the piano but oh my not really good .. had to memorize it since my sight reading is so terrible (big grin) ... thank you for sharing (big smile)
