Excellent work and love the composition. The moon and mountain top act as a figure, making the other figure appear to be standing on the arm of a giant, looking into it face. Beautiful.

Yes, the cropping worked well and sometimes a composition is made or destroyed by how one crops, so great job and decision. Weekend went well and survived Savannah, but saw a lot of strange things in the city of the Good and Evil.
