This was started in Apophysis, then to GIMP and finished in Photoshop.
This Is for the Dawns!
Silk from egypt golden threads wove in.
Only kings and Queens wore it next to their skin.

very lovely! (big smile) .. have you ever been over to spoonflower ? design your own fabrics … right now they don’t do silk but have it in the plans AND I remember reading they want in the future to give the designers a site to sell their fabric design work .. don’t know if it’s going to be a POD but I think it will be …
the only problem I’m having with spoonflower is that they want a tiff file saved LAB .. PS will do it but no other program I use will (sigh) .. they say you can use jpg’s but there will be color shifts …
regardless it might be something you’d be interested in looking into (smile)

Many thanks I will look into it. I love fabric design, I studied it in college and work at a textile mill doing colors one summer it was a kick.

woooeee .. well let me know what you think of spoonflower when you check it out … I haven’t given up on it yet but hate to think what my fabric would look like with possible color shifts … it’s on my todo list but not near the top yet (grin)
