Planting time! by copperhead

We went Strawberry plant digging today in an old abandoned trailer park. They are clearing it for a new building project, and there are tons raspberries and strawberries all over that will just be wiped out. My family and a friend went digging and got a bunch though. Might get more if these survive. Don’t want to see that great wild patch completely flattened but that is what will happen. I’ve told dozens of people about them and they’ve said “let me know when you are going over I will go with you”. Let them know and as it turns out they were hoping I would just dig enough for them…sigh…everyone wants the product..nobody wants the work involved. So my Mother’s Day will be spent planting our new strawberry patch and our new raspberry patch. We will probably add another 20 or 30 raspberry bush plants hoping they spread a little though and we won’t have to. I can’t wait til they are planted so I can take pictures of them…they’ll make great 3D textures :) :) Always looking for new stuff to play with in my texture programs and plant matter is a big one with me. All of it is so different!
