This is one of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Sunflowers which are grown and then sold for $5.00 a bunch at Buttonwood Farms in Griswold, CT… Such a Great Cause!!! My Nephew went on a Trip thru Make-A-Wish Foundation! So grateful to them!!!

Since 2004 our Sunflowers For Wishes fundraisers for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut have been a huge success.
It has run for ten days in each of the last years, and we have been able to raise a total of over $305,050.

We’d like to thank each of you who visited our farm and made a donation during this event.

THIS YEARS EVENT
Plans are well underway for this year’s event, which will be happening from 10 a.m. to dusk the week of July 23 – 31th 2011.

We’d appreciate your help in making this year’s event the best ever, so mark your calendars!

TAKE A HAYRIDE
Tractor drawn hayrides daily from
11 am – dusk and on weekends 10 am – dusk. The ride is 3/4ths of a mile through cow pastures and 4 acres of the sunflower fields in bloom. All proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
