THE WORLD AS WE SEE IT, OR AS WE MISSED IT

175th Anniversary of the taking of the Alamo by Santa Anna and his men is being remembered this week here in San Antonio TX. The assault on the Alamo started on Feb. 23rd, 175 years ago.

We enjoyed the Museum and all the History we found here in the beautiful city.

Great shot Cookie,…I live only a few hundred miles from there,…But I`ve never been there,..Is it really worth the trip?,…

  • We were told by everyone, that we would be DISAPPOINTED with the Alamo… of course the ALAMO of 1840s is NOT there…. but the building above that they saved part of is incredile…I was amazed… I think it is worth the trip… especially as CLOSE as YOU are… we have come all the way from CT don’t forget… LOL :)))) Just my thoughts… Google it and check out all the ONLINE photos and info… and decide.. :))
