I’m calling out to the sky

I want the wind to lift me up
and carry me away from this place
I want the brightest rainbow to paint
a smile back on my face.
I want the sunshine to illuminate
the freckles on my nose
and I want the water to caress the skin
in between my toes.

cos today has been the hardest day
from negative vibes I feel my heart decay
Like a sad goodbye
my tears begin to stray
