Early spring in Whitesands towards the end of a long and stormy winter. This is one of my favorite places to be, so I was able to paint it without a photo for reference. I love allowing myself to be lost in the waves. This painting is for you my beloved!

Thank you for your perceptive comment and wonderful compliment by favouriting me Life Drawing :-) This is all done with pastel apart from first sketching it roughly with charcoal. I have also promised to add all the details to my paintings for viewers to see what I have used.
