Grammy
This year we had our first Edwards Family reunion, in honor of my parents. My grandmother, here is 92 years old. This is a photograph that has been manipulated in photoshop to look like a graphite drawing, and the results are impressive.
This is a picture of my grandmother, who is now in his 90’s. She lives with my grandfather in a small town on a State Highway that leads right in front of thier house. Every since I was a child, they have sat on the porch of thier home and waved to the passers by, no matter what the weather. When someone would talk about going to some town along that highway, I would ask, “Did you see my grandpa and grandma?” Most of the time they would remember them and I would get a good laugh and a smile from it. In recent years due to failing health, the summer being warm and winters days to cold for them they have sat there less and less.
On sundays as I go to church i pass thier house and don’t always stop. Finally my grandma said to me, “If you can’t stop could you at least honk your horn?”
Grandpa said, “I may not be able to see you but I’ll know you were thinking of us!”
