My photographs are taken with many different cameras, depending on what I have on me at the time. Here is a selection:
Mamiya RB67ProS (6×7 medium format)
Nikon FE (trusty old manual 35mm film)
Nikon D2X (monster DSLR)
Canon A95 (wife’s camera)
Panasonic Lumix LX2 (my P&S, 16:9 wide format 10MP)
Nikon D70 (friend’s DSLR)
Sigma SD9 (work’s DSLR)
I live in Mobile, Alabama, USA but I work all around the world. I am a semi-professional photographer (I don’t do it for a living, but I do occasionally make some money from it…usually in the field of archaeological documentation). Generally, I do work in web and OS X application development, specifically for research purposes at a University.
I grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas and went to Catholic High. I then traveled east to attend Mississippi State University because they had a good computer animation program at the time (now more or less defunct). I was interested in computers and design and got into the web design world when it was still unknown (sometime in 1992). I have since spent most of my time developing research and technology projects for archaeology, art, and museum uses, most of which have to do with photography and imaging of collections.
