Waiting for Quatermass
If I could offer one single piece of photography advice, it would be – “Take far more shots than you need. Make sure its ‘in the can’, instead of wishing you’d done things differently.”
Looking back through my folders I found some ‘handy looking’ Infrared exposures I’d made of the cooling towers at Thorpe Marsh last summer… Lightly HDR’d to lose some of the flare and finished, without too much fuss, using a subtle blue tone.

Gorgeous….and creepy at the same time…...very cool shot. Did you use an IR filter, or a converted camera?

What can I say? You’ve nailed your processes, and once again, the composition and perspective are so tight, they’re absolutely spot-on. Brilliant industrial landscape. At first, I thought it’s a pity the towers weren’t steaming, but on reflection, it’s possibly better that way – all the ‘steam’ is thousands of feet above. Are they disused?
