This week we’d like to say a huge thanks to Bloorain. Bloorain is an energetic and enthusiastic host of C.O.R.E and has a knack for creating engaging, interesting activities and discussions for the group. You’ve been tagged! is just one of those great ideas that helps artists on RedBubble get to know each other better. Bloorain and cohosts have created a fantastic group which works to bring people together despite differences of opinion and beliefs. The C.O.R.E group description sums it up perfectly:
We have two hosts who are diametrically opposed in their spiritual beliefs and who have become friends over a period of time in RB. The science Vs religion debate is raging around the world right now and we can’t solve it so we wanted to create a place where both sides can coexist through something common, a love of art. And to promote both science and religion without putting either down. Nobody is wrong here.
We’d like to thank Bloorain for his contribution to the RedBubble community. In addition to being a great group host, Bloorain is also a talented writer. If you’d like to read some of his written works, these aren’t a bad place to start:
And last but not least, Mr Baxter awarded this week’s buyer’s booth prize to a man in his pants. I’m slightly concerned that he’s started a disturbing trend of pants related exhibitionism. Please don’t encourage him.
A big thanks to all the artists above for sharing their achievements, news, inspiration, tutorials and tips with us. So now it’s over to you. We’d love to hear your highlights from this week …

What a great collection of new artists and writers. And it’s wonderful to recognise those generous and helpful bubblers who share their knowledge with the rest of us.
I was really glad to see “Core” and Bloorain get a special mention. This is a wonderful, active and inclusive group, and I’d like to also thank Ushna Sardar for the enormous amount of time and effort she’s put in to make the group what it is :-)

Great newsletter. The tag thing instigated by Bloorain at C.O.R.E, with Ushna’s full support has been wonderful. So many have shared a little extra something about themselves. I’ve truly enjoyed participating in that. C.O.R.E has always been a great group and so supportive in this community. They’ve been a huge part of my wonderful experience.
Congrats, Bloo!
PhotoManipulators’ Newsletter is full of highlights this month and links to tutorials. Great job, Rosemary.
Solo Exhibition’s magazine came out. A number of excellent artists each wrote a short article on their favorite Bernard Lacoque piece, the collective goal being to get his work into galleries. The Bernard Lacoque retrospective was very successful, with over 10,000 views and 2500 comments during its 7 day virtual Solo Exhibition.
Scott d’Almeida’s Solo last week was another hit show! His edition of the magazine will be out this weekend.
In the mean time, here’s the main download location for the last issue (follow instructions there).
EVERYONE is WELCOME to DOWNLOAD the MAGAZINE.
Thanks,

Thanks for including my work in the “new talent” section. I got such a suprise to see my photo used as the banner for the Journal. I noticed it when I was at work and couldn’t contain my excitement! I think the others at work must have thought I’d won the lottery.
