The Body and Soul exhibition opened this week at Edgewater Gallery in Adelaide, featuring bubblers Naomi and Paul Clarke, Dianne Davies, Paul Tait and Mandi Whitten

- Simone Byrne shared a tutorial on using levels and curves in PhotoShop
Miron Abramovici supported a wonderful cause by volunteering to photograph some of the events at the Special Olympics NJ Fall Sports Festival.
- Patrick Latter gave us an insight into how he creates his images
- Karen Betts reflected on what a year on RedBubble has taught her
- The Devon and Cornwall group are planning a Great SWUK Get Together in March 2010
Mary Ann Reilly’s images will be published in the March 2010 issue of Somerset Digital Art
Wendy Slee was awarded two first place spots in the Busselton Through My Lens Photo Competition
This week we’d like to say a special thank you to Damien Mason. Damien is a wonderful supporter of illustrators and t-shirt designers on RedBubble, offering help, advice and feedback and he puts a great amount of energy and effort into hosting the (deep breath) International Superheroes of Drawing, Ilustration and World Domination group. When he’s not doing all these things, Damien can usually be found over in the main forums contributing to debates and discussions. We’d like to thank Damien for his enthusiastic contribution to making the RedBubble community the unique place it is.
Last but not least, Mr Baxter awarded this week’s Buyer’s Booth prize to a gorgeous image featuring our 2010 calendars. If you’d like to be in the running to win a $30 RB Voucher each week, you just need to add a creative pic of your RedBubble purchases to the Buyer’s Booth.

My personal highlight of the week was my first ever RedBubble feature, for a collaborative work using the images of Lorenzo Castello and titled Lorenzo’s Oils thanks to whoever chooses these features, it gave me a big grin :-)))

RB Community, Nat, in fact, gave me a shout out, actually an official “Thank you” last week for the energy put into Solo Exhibition and the magazine Inside Solo, especially. I was floored and say back, you’re welcome and thank you!
I got my first feature on the home page Saturday with Rain Dance. I’ve been only uploading art for 5 months (although with RB for close to 2 years). So it was really special!!
Inside Solo magazine is always a highlight of my week. The contributing writers and I want to thank everyone who downloads and enjoys this magazine. You do not have to be a member of Solo Exhibition to download, read, and enjoy the feature articles. 32 pages of Art and Art News this week. Get your copy! ;)

My works were accepted in several great groups and one was featured in Cee’s Fun Artsy Friends Group on the 7th, just a couple of days after joining RB. Was an immeasurable pleasant surprise and honor for me!
