Introducing... (drum roll please!)
The call went out across Redbubble land to find suitable names for three two-headed Tasmanian Devils about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime around the Redbubble globe.
The response was brilliant, many thanks to everyone who put on their thinking caps and came up with some very interesting names.
I had my work cut out choosing only three (or in this case six!), so without any gilding of the lily and absolutely no further ado, may I present…
Chaos and Anarchy – suggested by AlexMac
Rogue and Rascal – suggested by Marion Cullen
Cedric and Beau – suggested by my fellow Taswegian samedog.
These last two names hold a very special significance… Cedric is the poster child for the campaign to save the Tasmanian Devil from extinction and Beau comes from the Beaumauris Zoo where the last Tassie Tiger (Thylacine) held in captivity died in 1936. So it seemed fitting to acknowledge two of Tasmania’s icons here, the tiger being (qute possibly but rumour has it not…) extinct, and the devil facing imminent extinction due mainly to a mysterious facial tumour disease.

Where to from here? Well… I shall be sending these three pesky packages off on the first leg of their trip on Monday. It would have been sooner but they informed me they wanted one last hurrah – I’m scared…. very scared.
Our devils will be shipped with the following instructions to their new hosts:
- Fun is compulsory. If you do not show your devil a good time he/she/both is likely to keep you awake all night with his/her ferociously scary growling.
- Take photo’s of your devil doing devlish things, or just ordinary things that you and I would take for granted, like a trip to the grocery store, will be a hoot for your devil. We’d love to see photos of stuff that is unique to your part of the world.
- Write a journal and share anecdotes and photos about your time together with the community.
- Don’t forget to tag any journals or images with the words Redbubble Devils. Please also feel free to join and add them to the Redbubble Devils group.
- It will be best if your devil leaves your hands within 72hours. He/she/both is a traveller, if he/she/both stays in one place too long we can’t be held responsible for the damage he/she/both may do to your household furnishings… or your cat.
- To find out the next destination for your devil, contact the person at the top of The List via bubblemail for a shipping address.
- Did I mention that fun is compulsory?
Rewards:
Once you have successfully journalled and shipped your devil off to his/her next destination, flick me a bubblemail letting me know where your devil is off to and I will post you your “I adopted a Redbubble Devil and had a scorchingly hot time” certificate.
You will also receive a highly sought after Redbubble sticker :)

uh oh…... you’re gonna unleash them devils upon amongst us? Kewl!! I can’t wait to hear about their adventures around the globe.. I wonder if they’d enjoy the Fort Lauderdale beaches here or if they’ll end up eating the sand? We shall have to wait and see!

Hi Dane… three cats eh? Could be fun ;) The idea is that you post your journal and pics in your own account and add them to the Redbubble Devil group. Then once every couple of weeks we will pick out the best of the best and do a bit of a write up here in the community account.

you all know the tales of felix the rabbit?
sorry as a mom ..i have them. its about a stuffed toy who travels around the globe, and in his case writes post cards back form the cities he has visited.and a tale to tell from his journey there. the series is so well done and children just love them..tells about what he ate saw, and interesting fact or too.as most children have there fav, it about a young girls, and how she left it at her aunt house, and her aunt decides to do this. its just fab..and thought!—cheers t chappel

cool names – there are some cool children’s books coming out about tassie devils my fav so far is “ruby roars” I saw the tassie devils at Monarto zoo which are there to help breed and save this very cute animal.

I am slightly confused,here. I know a darling litlle collie cross, crossed with a Tasmaninan Devil, I swear it. They, whoever they ars, tried to pat, cudn’t work out why missing hand ? It would rip your arm off, if it thought there was a meal in it. she has got me by the throat, now, I know you have , you little darling. I knowyou are a good dog deep down, I now you do, I sumfinks going on
