Jessica: To make room for clothing … if you have t-shirts there would be 4 lines, but I guess that doesn’t make sense if you only have one….

Hi guys I go away for a couple of hours and WOW, new to bubble, and liking this new look….

Great work guys, I’d been hoping for some improvements maybe in 2 weeks time to log back on and find them already here, it’s so exciting!

Wow – I was on RB when you took us all offline. So yeah I went and did somefink else and now I’m back and super impressed with all the changes. Really love the way art and clothing are now separate on our profiles. Thanks RB!

Just one point I’ve noticed. In our portfolio overview, there are tabs for “art” and “clothing” and yet in the public portfolio, no such distinction is made. Any plans to divide up the public portfolio like “My Bubble”?

My public portfolio is divided up… maybe, Durotriges, you don’t have any clothing available for sale?

Durotriges, we’re actually being “clever” and only showing those tabs in your public profile if you have those things available.

Good to be able to shuffle the portfolio, would be useful if it could be subdivided into sub-headings like macro, landscape or similar. Nice to be popular, but better to flog something…......now wheres the customers? I keep hoping, but I’m not holding my breath…..but that isnt why I joined anyway!
I’m getting requests for BIG prints – 4ft + wide, but I cant get them done – any plans?

But {there is always a But!} I don’t think 8 is enough, you seem to drop off too fast, there is just too much happening on RB!

What about if it was placed down the right hand side, in one long column, and 20 -30 activities. Or even choose how many you wanted to see. And the images could be as small as these in here {works_avatar}.

The number of views etc are great too!

A perfect medium for my works, I thank all those involved in creating it. Its also crazy how this site has pulled in such incredible and diverse talent into one spot!

Well it’s no good, I love RB and am a devoted member of this community who joined in the first couple of weeks but I’m dying from a lack of being able to get my work seen. There seems to be a hot dozen folk who always get there things on the front page no matter what and good luck to them but it really grates sometimes to know someone popular uploads something and 30 seconds later they are on the front page. Which keeps them in the hot and happening couple of folks.

Back in the olden days when there was a jounal option, you could in theory write something and know that your ramblings etc would take a turn in the que and have a little time in the limelight which would in turn direct some new viewers to your work. Not any more.

Now its a blog and its devoted to profileing the same popular dozen people. Anything dear old dannynolan writes and whamo its on the front page. I wrote something about large size negatives and the equivelent megapixel sizes and hoped that it would generate a bit of a disscussion and a day later I can’t even find the sodding entry let alone hope for it to see the light of day as blogs are about who is ‘popular’. So dannyboy gets every single thought straight up on the front page.

Popular is not always great quality. I’m sure McDonalds sells more meals than most excellent resturants if you get the general drift of this whinge. I want RB to thrive and prosper but I was attracted initally to the quality of the work I was seeing and thought well this could be good. Now I’m just frustrated. How can I have photograhic work in the national and state gallery collections and can’t get my head up and over the kittens and kitsch on my most favorite website in the whole world?

Is there any way this can be looked at from headquarters? The really devoted artists out there need a little time in the sunshine as well as the ‘popular’ ones.

Ok sorry about spazzing out. I’m calm now. I’ve been sitting at the PC for what feels like time cubed finishing of a thesis and having a little wander through RB for lite amusment and it all boiled over. I do love being involved in this site. But what ever algorithm you guys use its not being very kind to a lot a people. And over kind to others.
Yesterday one lucky young lady had a pic on the front page all day and then today new page new pictures and oh my god the same picture again. Obviously on high rotation. sigh.

Well you did say tell us what you really think.

This site is fantastic. I signed up a few days ago and am absolutely impressed with the talent in this community. I find myself wanting to create more images, digital art and t-shirts just to upload them to redbubble. I enjoy getting the feedback which also gives me a link to look at what other artists are doing.

I’m so glad I signed up to red bubble, I felt a little reluctant at first because all other attempts I’ve made to do stuff like this has turned into a disaster..I can’t believe how user-friendly and easy it is to find your way around the site, the setup is fantastic. I keep learning more and finding more ways to be creative with my work, it’s great!!
