Astrophotography can be quite a challenge when trying to do a mosaic.
This one while never complete says a lot.

Andromeda Galaxy very intreguing………..but I think I will stay in the Milky Way

  • It fills an area of the sky comparable to a full moon; it is just much fainter.
The Milky Way is an awesome sight, if you can get out to the desert away from the city lights.

I have seen it a number of times..from the desert to the ocean…………..

  • You are quite fortunate, here in the Pine Barrens of NJ we have too much sky glow, and only see it faintly.

I love astonomy. We have an observatory on the AFA. Your picture gives us a glimpse of that beautiful galaxy. A great abstract, too. xx

  • I was going through my old photos, and I saw this; I used to be frustrated that I never finished it, but I actually like it even more like this now. Especially as it was unintentional.
