Thank you….Other’s can blame us if it makes them feel superior….they can vilify our heroic emergency personel, they can forget if they want to…But I will never forget seeing those planes, the jumpers…or forget the brave “Let’s Roll”…… I will honor the dead, all the dead…I will pray that people remember, that they come back to the realization that this was an attack on humanity, not a justifiable retaliation on an evil empire……..It could and probably will happen anywhere, at any time….I won’t dishonor them, by forgetting…

  • Thank you, Ginger.
It’s easy to forget the reality, and live in a land of make believe.

Very somber image, you can even feel it without the title, without knowing exactly where this is. The man crossing the street, his head lowered slightly. The damp dreary sky and the drops of rain bouncing off the car as you take the photo. The reflection of the red hand on the car.

    Excellent capture, Cometman.

  • Thanks much Mike.

It’s all a matter of who you align yourself with….Your fellow humans, or animals….It’s all a matter of character…..good and honorable, or without one…

Every generation has that event that they will remember every little detail about. JFK’s assassination, Pearl Harbor…ect. Up until 9/11, that event for me was the Space Shuttle Challenger accident. I was at the Cape when it happened, I’ll never forget it, the uncertainty, the sorrow of losing 7 astronaughts, 7 American Heros. That was a tough day, little did I know back then that what I felt that day would pale in comaprison to what I felt on 9/11/2001. 9-11 is my generations JFK.

  • I was in 4th grade when JFK was shot, I’ll never forget it. But 9-11 made a much bigger impact. A cousin and friends from high school and college were killed. I grew up watching them go up, and grew up some more seeing them come down. I used to be quiet about things, but not since 9-11. Life’s too short to be quiet.

Terrorism & hate is everywhere, people who do this are working for the devil. It was a sad, sad horrible day. But we know & see the truth through Jesus Christ so we can have hope .

  • It’s the Hope of Christ’s return, and God’s Free Gift of Eternal Life to us that keeps us going, and going, and going!

This abomination must be not be forgotten … it must be held up as another horrific example of what man can do in the name of his god … we in Scotland really feel for New Yorkers and all Americans as we are still suffering from the horrific disaster at Lockerbie.

  • The results of an evil belief system, and why it’s so important to speak up.
