It makes you think. I had to look at for a few seconds to realize what it was. Great use of lighting.

  • Once those wooden benches rot away, it’ll look much more mysterious.
Perhaps Stonhenge was a giant picnic area. LOL

I was thinking something like that. We have so many odd rock formations here that sometimes it makes me wonder if they were just naturally occurring. is that possible?

  • probably not, but I bet there was a lot of wood involved that we can’t imagine.

    Very amusing

  • I went to the lake to capture the sunset, but I saw this picnic table for the first time in 20+ years.
The Sun was hitting it just right.

LOL..I can imagine people trying to get funding to research this strange phenomena.
These are pretty rare now though…

  • Millions, sorry, I mean gazillions will be spent.
People won’t bend down to pick up a million dollar coin in the future.

This is so true although I don’t think concrete will last quite as long as stone!

  • As they wear away unevenly it’ll become more mysterious. Was it astronomical, did they perform sacrifices, are there bones (probably chicken and beef or pork)? The mystery grows.

  • Thanks Mike, I was surprised to see this mundane object so beautifully lit the other late afternoon.
    I had to shoot it.
