How hot is your car?
That’s one hot car! It was 91 outside today, but insidie the car it was over 200!
I did get a reading of 213 degrees (above boiling) prior to taking photos. Never leave an animal or child in a car.

Halot – A new book, “Halos – The optical phenomena of ice crystal clouds”, authored by Marko Riikonen, a world expert on ice halos.
The book is only published in Finnish at the moment; but the photos and diagrams are excellent.

National Science Foundation Exhibition
Today I received confirmation that my picture Inside a Rainbow will be included with a portion of the exhibition, The Atmosphere Exposed: Photographs of Halos, Mirages, Iridescent Clouds… and More! will be on display at the National Science Foundation come January to March 2012! Sorry I haven't been around much, but...
my home has been my canvas for the past few months.
Trees, shrubs, stones,sprinkler heads coming and going, Propane to Nat Gas conversion and more. But, I am starting to take more photos, and hopefully I’ll be able to post and comment more as time permits. Miss ya all, and enjoy seeing everyone’s art.
