Artist's Description

In September 04, my beloved cat Sumsum died quite suddenly. I was MORE Then SHOCKED… It was as if my heart died with her . I had few terrible days & nights of SADNESS . She died 7 days before my first "Open studio exhibition " . ( as if giving me 7 days to mourn ) . I had to explain my kids, to tell the BAD news, but I could not stop crying myself. I had to give them powers, when I myself had none… By chance, or actually for a reason, I found the story about " THE RAINBOW BRIDGE ", in the internet. And so I told my kids that story to help them with the news. Luckily I painted her in Oil, few months before she died. When I arrange that exhibition, while mourning her, looking at her painting, she was ALIVE, for me. Few month after, I started a small painting inspiring by the story " The Rainbow Bridge "… somehow, I didn’t completed it then.. Few days ago, I did.. and here it is today. Have a splendid loving day. Copyrights © Nira Dabush,
