"After Each Storm Lies a Rainbow"
When I wrote this I was in relationship of course, which was 2 yrs ago
And I would occasionally let my anger blind me and cause me to yell at my girlfriend of the time. But after the rage would settle down I would be removed of the anger that blindfolded me and I would be able to see the damage I have done. I would be like a grumpy thunder cloud striking her with a booming thunder voice and it would strike her like lighting to produce her to rain down with tears….but hey after every storm lies a rainbow….smilez

I have yet again let my anger get the best of me
And my words have again tainted you
And painted you
.....in blue
I look out the window to see that it has come about raining
Raindrops fall and dance on the window surface
With the violent sound of thunder occasionally shouting
I draw my eyes back inside
And stare at the ceiling thinking about how I did you
I peer back out my window
And can’t believe what I’m seeing
I see you crying
With the violent sound of me occasionally shouting back at you
Striking you
Like lightning causing you to cry even harder
I close the curtain
Because I can’t bare it
Even though I block out my vision
My ears still hear you spill out your pain
Causing so much rain
I hear myself still blowing off at you as if to be derange
The storm grows worser
My harsh words form high speed winds
That roar fiercely at you
You take the abusive, verbal assault
Claiming that your love for me guards your heart
I can’t stand it anymore having your pain on my brain
I call you up
And sure enough you pick up
All I hear is sniffles
I then apologize for all the chaos
You say you forgive me because you love me
While we making reconciliations
I peer back out my window
And it appears as if nothing happen
I look out into the sky and gain witness
To a lunar rainbow
I smile
And say
I love you

it was a good exp. while it lasted and it showed me that hey even the good ones could turn into bad apples….and got to exp. love so it was a complete waste of time

Men and thier rage, I have fallen victim to those tears, the verbal abuse, why?, “because I love him”, “HIM”, my Husband of 20 years has settled down, after a few split ups, I think we have our shit together now, you really showed me the male side to this, still, “WHY”?, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

to answer the “why” to my story …smilez….
she would falsely accuse me of fooling around with other girls
which wasn’t true
and i have shown her countless ways that i wanted her and only her
but she wouldn’t take my words to heart
and when she cheated on me and i took her back when the guy bailed out on her because he thought she was pregnant with his kid ..(she wasn’t) and after taking her back she would try to still go see the guy…..which to me was pretty stupid…..and i couldn’t understand
though she had cheated on me for a drug dealer / manwhore
and everyone was to believe that she was pregnant , i claim to be the child’s father
i risked and put alot into the relationship
and etc…..
she still wanted to mess around behind my back
...lol
sorry for me to be venting like this…smilez
but thats the cause of my occasionally rage
but yet i never laid a finger on her …..

the guy that she cheated on me was the benefactor that might have caused her to be pregnant
she allowed him to break her vaginity …(we were both virgins at the time)
together for a yr and some months and she decided to make that kind of move…..

This writing took me right into the moment. I like the breaks in the flow….it put emphasis on certain feelings as I was reading this. It takes courage to put a piece like this out there.
