"Letting My Mind Go"
I came up with the idea of doing another self portrait
from seeing that my friend at MICA was assigned to do a portrait assignment.
So I worked up a sketch but revised it some when it came to the final piece.
I have myself with a dandelion afro with the seeds blowing away
to represent me letting my mind go. There also a few fireflies flying about here and there.

yea since i have alot of portraits
that involve me as a hybrid with plants
i found this idea to be brilliant not just because it fit well
with the hybrid idea but the concept as well and the way i drew it.
hopefully my portfolio will be good enough for a powerful scholarship for this spring!

that would be great, i hope it all works out for you, your portfolio is superb, and i dont see it not doing well, uniqueness is always an asset and anyone who can look at themselves the way you do is truly gifted as an artist :) use redbubble to inspire you, bounce your ideas off everyone and that way you will remain focused and in tune with your art :)
