In the backstreets of South Melbourne in Victoria came across this old shop front that now has been converted to a home but the owners have left the old signs alone to preserve the history of the building.

I tend to work in HDR because of the depth and effects it brings to the shots. As i say as long as you are proud of your finished work thats what counts, you dont need to be concerned about pleasing everyone.

I knew before I read your desciption that this was around the South Melbourne area! There are some great old shops there that have been turned into homes. Great image!!

  • Thanks Karen, the area is filled with old converted shops you only have to look to find them.
