Eulogy

Eulogy belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical

As if I were a lion,
my sound brings fear,
my stealth is in my hiding,
invisible but roaring rage.

As if I were an eagle,
the wind my chariot,
my sight brings envy,
for my power sweeps
the very mountains.

As if I were the wind,
the oceans are my sword,
eternity my song,
hell my only master.

As if I were a giant,
as if I were a cloud,
as if I were at all,
quiet but substantial,
ethereal but loud,
but not this empty space,
black like night,
lit only by a fantasy,
as if I were a star.
