Tamaracks
A very unique place. Over 60 acres of strictly tamarack trees. Tamaracks do not have leaves, they have needles. They are unusual because they loose their needles in the fall and then grow new ones in the spring. In the fall tamaracks turn a beautiful shade of gold. Shot with a Nikon 10.5 mm fisheye lens.
Located in Central Idaho. Enjoy!

One of my favorite photos of yours friend. There is just something about the fisheye perspective on these colors and shapes that seems almost alien. Very well done.

Cool fisheye shot! I’d like one too. I shoot on Canon and am looking to buy the new 40D soon. The Canon TS-E lens would be able create cool shots too. It can tilt/ shift the horizontal and vertical planes – another lens I’d like to add to my kit.

Love this shot, and the colors as well. I’m from Idaho so I know how beautiful it is there—I miss the mountains and the quaking aspen. I was going to transplant one but I was told they wouldn’t grow in Texas. I guess that means I’ll have to go home more often! :o) Well done. I can’t wait to see more of your work.
