Never thort it would happen to me

Lived in denial
Felt cocky and strong

Now a blithering mess

Hot flushes
And marshmellow brain
Easy tears
And DON’T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT
I’LL RIP YOUR HEAD OFF!

I’ll dye my hair bright like a rainbow
And say
“For f….’s sake
And act totally inappropriately
Whenever I feel like it
And move disgracefully
Into being
