This design is a pencil sketch taken from observation on the estuary near my home – the Crookhaven River in the Shaolhaven region of New South Wales, Australia.
Godwits are to be find in our area for most of the year – apart from the Northern Hemisphere Spring when they depart to nest in Siberia and other very cold areas.
