Parrots - Galah on Acacia by

Galahs are probably Australia’s best known and loved small parrots. They have adapted well to human settlement and are found throughout the continent except in wetter coastal areas. They have a comic bent especially in wet weather when they often hang upside down, with wings spread, from overhead wires screeching in apparent delight. The term “galah” has come to be applied to human jokesters or accident prone individuals.
