Taken while walking around The Battery. A small community of houses built into the cliffs at the base of Signal Hill. Some of the families in The Battery have been living there for generations.
The hiking trail was closed that day due to a rock slide somewhere down the path. The Battery has been the victim of many rockfalls and avalanches which have resulted in various injuries and deaths.
