Taken behind the fish processing plant in St. Mary’s, Newfoundland during the off-season.
This is the only shot I’ve ever taken with the intent of using selective colouring in post processing. When I was taking the picture, I popped up the built in flash and put my finger in front of it to enhance the reds a little. The bright red glare that you see there is the reflection of the flash blasting through my finger. To me it kind of looks like there’s a light blinking inside the box.
Would you have pressed it?

great color contrast. This photo is really wicked! I like the darker hues in the box – they do well in making the red stand out. cool idea making some of the grunge that red too!
