Hiking the East Coast Trail
One of many of the magnificant sights that can be seen while walking Newfoundland’s famous East Coast Trail. There are over 220km of maintained walking trails along the coast of the Avalon Peninsula—an additional 100km should be completed by 2009.
Taken in Witless Bay.

Wow. It looks ominously beautiful Tobin. I bet the air was amazing. I’d love to get up there someday.

August definitely has the best weather for hiking, but during May and June you’ll see a tonne of icebergs all along the trail.

I’ve done sections of the ECT over the past few years, this year however, I plan on doing a lot more of the trail.
