Creative Lens

If you’ve wondered where I’ve been, I’ve been away for a week on the coast near Newcastle, NSW, participating in a week long photography course called Creative Lens.

I can’t believe how great the location was, how friendly the group was and how much I learnt and relearnt over the 6 days.

For anyone wanting to take their photography to the next step, to get a boost along and to be immersed in loads of brilliant photographic opportunities, give this a go. From the sunrises to the sunsets and everything in between it was all magic. I’ve been to places I didn’t even know existed.

Len’s a friendly fellow with a mountain of experience that he shares freely. He teaches in a kind and gentle way and helps everyone, both experienced and less experienced…

Here’s what the judges said,

An ethereal tour de force enhanced by the rich coloration and the well considered framing

Join me at the Juried Invitational Exhibition…

I am very excited to have my art selected, from over 74000 works of art, to exhibit in SoJie 23. SoJie 23 takes its name from the first letters of Solo’s Juried Invitational Exhibition. This month is only the 23rd one, ever, and 62 other artists, besides myself, are represented.

Winners of the invitational will be announced on August 30th, when a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded in three categories: digital art, photography, and traditional art.

Non members, as well as members, ARE welcome to view all of the work nominated. So I hope that you will click the show banner, above, and follow the link to view my fellow exhibitors. The works are shown …
